However, it is interesting and not offensive to listen to. This is music that is not spectacular or destined to be one of my favorites. Very danceable in that "Rachel" kind of way.
If you love tribal, middle eastern-vibe, belly dance music, this is for you. What else can I say. I absolutely love Beats Antique's raw, tribal music. I was turned on to them after listening to an online radio station and I haven't looked back. Their music just moves me.
I ordered this CD looking for interesting music to dance to and I was not disappointed. A friend of mine over heard me playing it and said that who ever that was.was really kicking it.
I love it.The artistry, the talent, and thought of the dancer is evident in this music. If you are a classical belly dancer (or if you prefer traditional dance) who is interested in a modern edge but not into anything completely freakish or gothic, this is for you. Superb.
I bought this CD to practice belly dance between classes but I've been listening to it at work because the songs get stuck in my head, but in a good way. Very enjoyable, I'm glad I made the purchase.
